The first skis were made in Sweden 4,500 years ago and we have been perfecting the art of skiing ever since. The climate has been on our side and so has the skiing industry, ever since it first saw the light of day. We have been raising winter sport champions since the dawn of time. We love snow you know, in the kingdom of skiing.

Lugnet has many advantages when it comes to hosting major events. It is a complete Nordic ski venue with a cross-country stadium and ski jumping facilities, as well as large indoor arenas. The sense of a major event is reinforced by the fact that all competitions are held in the same location.

On 18-19 September, the FIS Inspection Group visited Falun to run through the Swedish application.
